Asking that special someone to marry you is an important event. You want it to be perfect.
There are a few things to consider before you propose. Private or a public proposal? Both can be romantic and special. What’s the budget? Finally where, when and how. To help answer these questions, think about your soon-to-be fiance. Choose what they would enjoy.
A romantic way to propose privately is to create a romantic setting at home with roses, candles, and champagne. With romantic music playing in the background tell her how much you love her, get down on one knee and ask her to marry you. You can make it more extravagant by leaving a trail of rose petals leading to the spot where you will propose.
If a public proposal is more your style, arrange for family and friends to meet for a party or other event. Have each one of them wear a T-shirt with one of the letters to spell out the words, “Will you marry me?” At the right moment, have them stand in the correct order, drop to one knee and ask her to marry you. You can make it more extravagant by having her favorite song sung while everyone is getting into place or a dance routine.
